General information

Besides the beauty of sea view from the our resort, the other nearest attraction is Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum. The holds items and exhibits that illustrates how a fisherman works and to an extent, how he lives his life. Out in the compound of the museum, you can see a few life-size traditional fishing boats which also testify to the artistic side of the fishermen community.

The museum was developed by the South Johor Development Authority (KEJORA). This is part of a development project in the local fishermen's village at Tanjung Balau. Many artifacts are on exhibit, including fishing nets, tackles with authentic replicas of the tools used. There are also gaily decorated traditional boats, rafts and vessels used by local fishermen.
